How CIRCLO works

1. Browse & request

Find what you need nearby and send a request for your dates. You won't be charged until the owner accepts.

2. Verified handover

Pay the rental + refundable deposit, then both sides log a "before" photo at pickup so the item's condition is on record.

3. Return & review

Return the item, log an "after" photo, and once the owner confirms it's in good shape your deposit is released. Rate each other.

Trust & deposits

Renting from a neighbour only works if both sides feel protected. Every rental on CIRCLO carries the same four layers of protection.

CIRCLO protection

Applied automatically, every rental

  • CNIC + selfie verified before anyone lists or rents

  • Deposit held by CIRCLO, not the owner

  • Before/after photos logged at every handover

  • Trust & Safety Fund backstops damage past the deposit

CIRCLO's cut

20%

of the owner's payout — only on rentals that complete cleanly

Verified identities

CNIC + selfie, reviewed by hand by a CIRCLO admin before anyone can list or rent.

Deposit protection

A refundable security deposit is held by CIRCLO, not the owner, and released after a clean return.

Evidence photos

Both sides log timestamped before/after photos at handover and return — your record if anything's disputed.

Trust & Safety Fund

A reserve fund CIRCLO draws on when damage or loss goes beyond a rental's deposit.

Frequently asked questions

How does the deposit work?

When your request is accepted, you pay the rental fee plus a refundable security deposit together to CIRCLO — never directly to the owner. CIRCLO holds the deposit until you return the item, then releases it back to you once the owner confirms a clean return.

What if something gets damaged?

Either side can report a problem on the booking. An admin reviews the before/after evidence photos from both parties and decides how the deposit is applied. If the damage or loss is worth more than the deposit, CIRCLO's Trust & Safety Fund can cover the difference.

How is my ID verified?

You upload a photo of your CNIC and a selfie. A CIRCLO admin reviews every submission by hand and checks the selfie matches the CNIC photo before approving your account — it isn't automated.

Can I cancel a request?

Yes, free of charge, any time before CIRCLO confirms your payment has been received. Once payment is confirmed the rental is locked in — if your plans change after that, reach out to CIRCLO support.

Does CIRCLO take a cut?

Renters pay exactly the listed rental fee plus the deposit — no extra service fee. CIRCLO takes a 20% commission from the owner's payout once a rental completes cleanly.

Got gear?

Have something sitting idle? List it and start earning.

Tools, tents, cameras, party gear — if it's sitting in a cupboard most of the year, it could be earning you money by the hour.
